Vodacom has issued a statement urging their clients to upgrade their connection software to VMC-Lite 3.2.1. According to Dot Field, Vodacom Group’s chief communications officer this is very important as clients using the old software can be connected to the Vodacom network but will not be able to browse the internet.

To get VMC-Lite 3.2.1, clients should visit the Vodacom website and download the software from there. Cyber Connect clients can receive help in installing the software by us on call 011 781 8014 and those who are subscribing directly to Vodacom can call the Data Call Centre on 155, free from a Vodacom cellphone or 082 155 from any other phone.
