Voice Over Internet (VOIP)

Are you looking to reduce your telephone costs by up to 30%? If you have an ADSL line then this is possible using Cyber Connects Voice Over IP (VOIP) solution. Our VOIP/Asterisk division how has its own web site!

What is VOIP?

VOIP essentially means that voice calls are routed over the Internet rather than over Cell Phone lines just like Skype. Unlike Skype however calls can be made to normal telephone numbers by break out points to the telephone network that are provided by Cyber Connect's VOIP trunk partner.

The biggest saving in call costs are for International and National calls. Additional saving are also possible if you do not currently make use of least cost routing. (Least cost routing is the practise of sending cell phone calls over the cell phone network instead over telkom thereby reducing call costs.).

What do I need to make use of VOIP?

You will need:

  • an ADSL line,
  • an ADSL account and
  • a VOIP PBX ,
  • or analogue phone converter R400 (ex vat) .

Our VOIP solutions works on a pre-paid basis which enables the user to accurately control the amount of money spent on calls.  If you are interested in our VOIP solutions please contact us on 011-781 8014 or email us via our contact form.
