This new ADSL service is especially tailored for our customers with the “up to 4MB ADSL” access speed. This service will not be capped but will have measures in place which ensure a consistent user experience for our customers. When the predetermined amount of bandwidth is consumed, the line speed will be reduced to 128Kbps thus ensuring that connectivity for essential services such as mail and local browsing is maintained for the remainder of the month. This service offers users the peace of mind of using an uncapped service, without being affected by potential abusers of the system. We will not restrict your Telkom determined line speed until you reach your threshold.
